Satellite tracking station, Bangalore, India

We have been involved in the project for the provision of a new satellite tracking station for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Callisto, a company based near Toulouse, France selected us to design and provide the specification for the cooling installation serving cryogenic chillers.

Callisto’s contract was for the supply of a cryo-cooled low noise amplifier system for a satellite ground station and the contract has been awarded by the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking & Command Network (ISTRAC) located in Bangalore. ISTRAC is responsible for the development and operation of a worldwide network of ground stations to support of India’s space programme.

The first Indian Deep Space mission will be Chandrayaan-1, which is an unmanned scientific mission to the moon and is scheduled for launch during 2008.
